Have you ever wondered what the difference is between yoga and pilates?
The major difference between Yoga and Pilates in the most traditional sense is that Yogis develop their abdominals in a distended position. The opposite is true with Pilates. There are many more commonalities between the two practices as well. The breath is a major component of each practice.
